Ferricote liquid iron phosphate is specially formulated for hot water or steam cleaning phosphatizing. It contains detergents that are highly effective in removing heavy, oily type soils, such as welding anti-splatter, drawing oils, etc. Ferricote will clean and produce a corrosion resistant, paint-bonding, iron phosphate coating on ferrous metals.

No pH adjustment is required when used at the recommended concentration and under normal operating conditions.

Ferricote can be used with almost any phosphatizing system. It is a trouble-free product that is safe to use and can be automatically metered into the operation. The most cost effective concentrations are from 1.5% to 3.0% by volume, providing effective cleaning and phosphatizing at a low chemical cost.

One Step is an environmentally safe, neutral pH concentrated detergent suitable for cleaning all types of metal surfaces with no special disposal requirements. It contains a variety of degreasing agents designed to remove dust, glove prints, and other soils found in manufacturing plants. One Step is a low foaming detergent specifically formulated for cleaning metal parts prior to painting. When properly used, ferrous metals can be washed and dried without flash rust. For best results use in a high pressure hot water system without a rinse. Wash part thoroughly and let dry.
